Surcharges
Surcharges will vary depending on your chosen carrier. Please find details covering the surcharges for each of our carriers outlined below. If you have already selected a carrier you can skip to their surcharges using the following links:
DHL Air Express Surcharges
- Remote area - £16* - check your destination with DHL's Remote Area Database
- Any single item weighing 70kg or over (actual or volumetric) - £20*
- Duty reversal - £15
DHL EuroPlus Surcharges
- Remote area - £16* - check your destination with DHL's Remote Area Database
- Any single item weighing 70kg or over (actual or volumetric) - £20*
- Any single dimension including or over 120cm - £15*
UPS Surcharges
- Any single item weighing 70kg or over (actual or volumetric) - £27*
- Volume restriction - anything that is over 330cm "girth" - £27 (see example for calculating "girth")
- Extended area surcharge - £14.85 or 0.28p per kg
- Duty reversal - £15
- Address amendment £4.55 + vat if applicable.
- Additional handling per parcel - £2.70 + vat if applicable on any of the below:
- Any article that is not in a cardboard box or:
- That is encased in an outside shipping container made of metal/wood
- That is a cylindrical item, such as a barrel, drum, pail or tyre, that is not fully encased in a corrugated cardboard shipping container
- Any package with the longest side exceeding 150cm or its second longest side exceeding 76cm
- Any package with an actual weight greater than 32 kgs
- Each package in a shipment where the average weight per package is greater than 32 Kgs and the weight for each package is not specified on the source document or the UPS automated shipping system used
- Any article that is not in a cardboard box or:
